Shaped to replicate the look for a tomato but still designed for performance, the Tomato Cocotte from Staub has a 3-quart volume and a beautiful look. With a red enamel finish this is a piece that will certainly stand out in your kitchen, and the ‘stem’ of the tomato makes for a convenient handle on the top of the lid. Inside the lid, spikes have been distributed across the surface to evenly distribute the condensation that has been collected during cooking. Staub pots are made from an enameled cast iron which does an excellent job of heating evenly throughout.
Suitable for a wide range of tasks, this cocotte can be used for creating stews or soups, searing meats, braising, and much more. Adding this cocotte to your kitchen will give you a unique design item as well as a versatile piece of cookware. Feel free to place your order today!

Grade A Quality - Nothing cooks like cast iron. Fits an average roasting chicken. Aesthetically, this is a beautiful work of art. Staub quality is astounding - I also own simple lodge pieces that function as well, but the cast iron is more 'raw' - you can smell the iron. They still cook beautifully and I would take entry level cast iron cookware over stainless steel any day. But Staub really is the absolute gold standard. This piece is neck and neck with several pieces of Le Creuset that I have collected.
A showpiece in any kitchen - I absolutely love my Staub products, but i have to be honest i have yet to even use this. I feel bad as it looks like a piece of art. It doesn't move from my shelf in the kitchen where it lives and i can't tell you how many compliments i've gotten from my guests. Awesome Design and love the red accent in my kitchen! Pumpkin is next!
