​Valentine's Day Fudge

Valentine's Day Fudge
makes one 9"x13" pan

Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter, divided in half
1-1/2 cups sugar, divided in half
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk, divided in half
11 oz white chocolate baking chips, divided in half
1 teaspoon vanilla extract, divided in half
Red food coloring
Red, pink, and heart shaped sprinkles F
Flake salt

Directions:
1. Line a 9"x13" pan with aluminum foil and set aside. 

2. In a saucepan, combine half of the the butter, sugar, and sweetened condensed milk, and bring to a boil. Stir the boiling mixture constantly for 3 minutes and remove from heat. 

3. Add half of the white chocolate chips and half the vanilla and stir the mixture with a spatula until the chocolate has melted. Add 6 drops of red food coloring until the white chocolate becomes dark pink. 

4. Scrape the mixture into the pan and use a silicone spatula to smooth the top. Chill in the refrigerator. 

5. Repeat steps 1-3 with the second half of the ingredients adding 2 drops of food coloring to the second batch to create a light pink color. Pour the second batch of fudge directly on top of the first layer and smooth with a spatula. 

6. Sprinkle the top with sprinkles and flake salt and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Cut into 2" squares and enjoy!
