Reach for this blade! - I purchased this a week ago in store, and tested multiple bread knives in my price range. This is a great bread knife for professional and home use. The slight curve of the blade keeps your knuckles off the table/board. The wavy edge is incredibly sharp out of the box and Victorinox knives typically take and hold a decent edge. It is possible to sharpen the wavy edge on this knife which is fantastic. No complaints. If you're looking for a new bread knife, this is it! Yams? Watermelon? Crusty baguette? Roast?
