    Wok of Gods - The only negative feature of this is its heavy. Obviously it cannot be used in the same way as a typical Chinese wok would. However, it has advantages that make up for this apparent defect. The heating is extraordinarily even and uniformly distributed, the cast iron allows for heat retention unimaginable in the thin metal build of woks made with stainless steel, and the thicker walls provide advantage in this respect when compared with the typical 3 mm. Thickness of cast iron Chinese woks is perfectly free of hot spots. In spite of the external flat bottom, the inner round bottom allows the traditional round spatula or ladle to pick all the food up at the bottom of the wok and toss it around easily. And the external flat bottom is an asset if you consider that the Staub wok can be used on standard electric stoves. Finally, it provides the advantages of a non-stick surface without its drawbacks. Far superior to electric woks, regardless of the brand. Best on the market.
