This Shun 9’’ Classic Sharpening/Honing Steel will make it easy for you to keep your edges as square as possible even after consistent use. Two sides of this steel are designed for honing and two are meant for sharpening, meaning you can keep your knives looking great when you put this tool to use. When finished, simply wipe down with a damp cloth and air dry.
Black laminated pakkawood serves as the handle for this steel, meaning it will feel similar in hand to the Shun knives that are being honed. Get in the habit of giving your knives the care they need with regular passes over the honing steel and they will serve you well for many years to come.
