Protecta - Oven Shelf Guard

Protecta is simple and easy to fit! Designed to protect your hands and arms from the risk of nasty burns when reaching into the hot oven. Whilst the Protecta reaches the same temperature of the oven shelf, the silicone material has a low heat conductivity.

• How it works - Unique ribbed design means that heat is lost more quickly than your metal oven shelf. If you should accidently touch the shelf, you are less likely to burn. 
• Easy to fit - just slip the Protecta on to the front of your oven shelf.
• Can easily be removed for dishwasher cleaning.
• Withstands temperatures up to 260C / 500F.

Care must still be taken, and it is advisable to use protection such as oven gloves when reaching into a hot oven. Protecta can easily be removed for cleaning and is dishwasher safe.
