Curvy, Pretty, Special Pop of Colour - This is a lovely set of heat resistant, silicone tools that adds a bright spot of colour to the kitchen. Granted the bright red made me pause when ordering over worry about dye leaching into foods. I've notice no bleeding or colour loss so fingers crossed on that. The utensils feel quite nice in my hands. I love the weight of the handles, solid, not heavy. Fit and finish is top notch and the utensils are a joy to behold and use. The handles are not supposed to go in the dishwasher (the one thing I regret). Upon arrival the heads were too tight for me to pop off easily, so I'll hand wash until they loosen up a bit. Only thing missing is a whisk, turner and a skimmer/strainer that have to be purchased separately. After filling the crock with the tools included in the set I was only able to get four more utensils in. You'll need a larger crock if you want space for additional tools. Are there cheaper sets? Yes. This was the most heat resistant set I could find of up to 482 F. I tried the spatula spoon in a pan of oil heated on high. No melting. I looked for heat resistance first, then paid the extra for the curves on the crock and the pop of colour. I'm so glad I splurged. This looks like what it is. A high quality, kids gonna fight over this when I'm gone, I am nuts for paying this much, crock of kitchen utensils.
