Works Well, Cheap, Looks Nice - I had a drawer full of these things from various manufacturers; all were rusty, broken wires, plastic stained, or just generally clumsy. This one was cheap, stays put, slices are good thickness, and after about 1/2 year of use, looks like the day I bought it ... and I use it almost every weekday. Seems very odd to care about an egg slicer, but now that I have a good one, I realize how bad my other ones always were. The wire is even replaceable, if you wanted to install some piano wire in there or something, so it would likely last you a lifetime.
