The Global 4.5" Scalloped Utility Knife is a versatile everyday kitchen tool designed for clean, effortless slicing. Its fully scalloped 4.5" blade easily cuts through tough-skinned fruits, crusty bread, and firm vegetables while helping prevent tearing and crushing. Crafted from Global's proprietary CROMOVA 18 stainless steel, the blade is formulated with chromium for corrosion resistance, carbon for hardness, molybdenum for toughness, and vanadium for a fine grain structure. The hollow handle is filled with dry sand and sealed, allowing the sand to shift the knife's center of gravity toward the bolster for a lighter, well-balanced feel. Combined with the ergonomic stainless steel handle, this design provides excellent control and comfortable handling for everyday food preparation.
