The Beverage-Air SPE48HC-18M-DS 48-inch Mega Top Sandwich Prep Table is designed for high-volume food preparation with maximum ingredient capacity and dual-sided access. With a 13.01 cu. ft. net capacity and rear-mounted compressor, this unit delivers dependable refrigeration performance while optimizing workspace efficiency in busy commercial kitchens.

Constructed with stainless steel on the front, sides, top, doors, and grille, along with a galvanized back and bottom, the cabinet offers long-lasting durability and easy cleaning. The interior liner is made of corrosion-resistant aluminum to ensure sanitation and structural strength. The dual-sided mega top configuration holds eighteen 1/6-size, 4-inch-deep polycarbonate pans, providing expanded ingredient storage and convenient access from both sides—ideal for high-production sandwich shops, delis, and pizzerias.

The cabinet maintains consistent product temperatures between 36°F and 38°F, supported by full electronic controls for precise temperature management. The refrigeration system uses environmentally friendly, energy-efficient R290 refrigerant and meets CARB, SNAP, DOE, and other regulatory standards. Adaptive defrost and an epoxy-coated evaporator coil enhance reliability and long-term performance.

Two self-closing solid doors feature cartridge-style hinges with a 120° stay-open function for easy loading and unloading. Doors are easy to remove for service and cleaning and are field-reversible (hinge kit not included) to accommodate flexible kitchen layouts. Snap-in magnetic gaskets ensure a positive door seal to maintain temperature integrity, while painted aluminum handles provide durability and comfort.

Inside the cabinet, four epoxy-coated steel wire shelves offer organized refrigerated storage.
