The Wells B-506 Built-In Electric Charbroiler is engineered for reliable performance and easy operation in demanding commercial kitchens. Its self-cleaning heating elements are positioned between the cast iron broiler grate ribs to protect against direct food contact and spatula abrasion while delivering both radiant and conductive heat for consistent, even cooking. Two independent infinite heat controls regulate each half of the cooking surface, providing flexible cooking zones with positive-off positions and power indicator lights for precise operation.
Designed for convenient maintenance, the broiler features removable cast iron grates, lift-out drip pans with built-in handles, and a spring-loaded support rod that securely holds the heating element assembly in the raised position during cleaning. The recessed one-piece stainless steel control panel helps prevent accidental temperature adjustments, while an included grate scraper/brush makes routine cleaning even easier.
Installation is simplified with the Wellslok mounting system, allowing quick and secure installation into stainless steel countertops. The unit also includes a terminal block for field connection to the main power supply.
