Great addition to my kitchen - Perfect for my staub fish plate. It does not keep the fish plate from sliding around, but it keeps it on the trivet. I like the fact that I can still spin it though. Nice looking and well made.

Functional and attractive - This trivet is useful when cooking with the Staub fish pan or gratin. I also use it with other pans and serving dishes as it is thick (protecting surfaces) and attractive. The magnets are strong, which makes moving the cast iron around easier. I also have a couple of the round trivets (great with Staub braisers and Dutch ovens), and I recommend both styles.
