The Global Santoku Knife is a versatile alternative to the traditional chef's knife, designed for cutting, chopping, and mincing with precision and ease. Its straighter edge, blunted sheepsfoot-style tip, and thinner spine provide excellent control for everyday preparation, while the blade is also capable of slicing thin-boned and boneless meats, fish, and vegetables. Crafted from Global's proprietary CROMOVA 18 stainless steel, the blade is formulated with chromium for corrosion resistance, carbon for hardness, molybdenum for toughness, and vanadium for a fine grain structure. The hollow handle is filled with dry sand and sealed, shifting the center of gravity toward the bolster for a lighter, well-balanced feel. An ergonomic dimpled handle provides a secure, slip-resistant grip, while seamless one-piece stainless steel construction enhances durability, hygiene, and easy maintenance. Made in Japan.
