A tasty holiday appetizer that comes together with ease!
Quick Candied Pecans
Makes 2 cups
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
3 teaspoons water
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups pecan halves
Directions:
1. Combine all of the ingredients except the pecans in a medium skillet and cook over medium heat, stirring with a silicone spatula for 2 minutes, or until the sugars dissolve and the mixture begins to bubble.
2. Add the pecans and stir them in the sugary syrup mixture until completely coated in the glaze. Continue to cook for an additional 3 minutes.
3. Remove the pecans from the heat, and spread them on parchment paper to cool. Enjoy!
