The Beverage-Air SPE48HC-12-SNZ 48-inch Sandwich Prep Table with Sneeze Guard is designed to deliver reliable refrigeration, convenient food prep, and enhanced food safety for busy commercial kitchens. Built with stainless steel on the front, sides, top, doors, and grille, along with a galvanized back and bottom, this unit offers durability, easy cleaning, and long-lasting performance in demanding environments.

The interior liner is constructed of corrosion-resistant aluminum for added strength and sanitation. The top section features a sneeze guard and holds twelve 1/6-size, 4-inch-deep polycarbonate pans, keeping ingredients protected while remaining easily accessible for sandwich and salad preparation. Enhanced airflow technology ensures that products in open containers are maintained below 41°F and above freezing, while the cabinet consistently holds temperatures between 36°F and 38°F. Full electronic controls provide precise and dependable temperature management.

Two self-closing doors are equipped with cartridge-style hinges and a 120° stay-open feature for easy loading and unloading. Snap-in magnetic gaskets create a positive seal to preserve temperature integrity, and doors are easy to remove for cleaning and service. Field-reversible doors offer flexible installation options (hinge kit not included). Painted aluminum door handles provide durability and comfort during frequent use.

Inside the cabinet, four epoxy-coated steel wire shelves provide organized refrigerated storage. A 10-inch-wide white polyethylene cutting board offers a generous prep surface and is removable for quick cleaning. The unit is mounted on 6-inch casters, two with brakes, allowing for mobility and secure placement.

The refrigeration system uses environmentally friendly, energy-efficient R290 refrigerant and meets CARB, SNAP, DOE, and other regulatory requirements. Adaptive defrost and an epoxy-coated evaporator coil enhance reliability and long-term performance.
