The Beverage-Air HBF44HC-1-HS Horizon reach-in freezer is designed for operations that need large frozen storage capacity, strong temperature performance, and easy access across multiple sections of the cabinet. With a 47" footprint and four half solid swing doors, it allows staff to reach what they need quickly while limiting temperature loss to the rest of the interior.
The exterior features stainless steel on the front, sides, and grille for a polished, professional look, supported by a galvanized back and bottom for durability. Inside, the stainless steel liner is built to handle the rigors of commercial kitchens and simplifies cleaning. Bright LED lighting makes product identification fast, even during the busiest shifts.
Each door is self-closing with spring-loaded hinges and includes a 120° stay-open feature for convenient loading. Because these are solid doors, they also include factory-installed locks for added security. Plug-in magnetic gaskets ensure a tight seal and can be removed easily for maintenance or replacement. Six heavy-duty epoxy-coated wire shelves provide organized storage throughout the roomy 44 cubic feet of capacity.
Full electronic controls with one-touch defrost make operation simple and consistent. The bottom-mounted compressor is easy to access, and the one-piece grille removes quickly to streamline preventative maintenance. The refrigeration system uses environmentally friendly, energy-efficient R290 refrigerant and meets major regulatory requirements. Adaptive defrost, a hot gas condensate evaporator, and an epoxy-coated evaporator coil work together to support long service life while keeping temperatures reliably down to -10°F.
Mounted on 6" casters, two with brakes, the HBF44HC-1-HS can be repositioned for cleaning or workflow changes, making it a practical, high-capacity choice for demanding kitchens.
