The Beverage-Air HBF27HC-1-HS Horizon reach-in freezer delivers reliable frozen storage, rugged construction, and smart accessibility in a space-efficient 30" footprint. Finished with stainless steel on the front, side, and grille, the cabinet presents a clean, professional look, while the galvanized back and bottom provide added durability. A stainless steel interior stands up to heavy use and makes cleanup quick at the end of the shift.
Two half solid swing doors help minimize temperature loss while still allowing flexible access to different sections of the cabinet. They’re self-closing with spring-loaded hinges and include a 120° stay-open feature to simplify loading during deliveries or prep. Built-in door locks add security when the kitchen is closed. LED lighting brightens the interior so staff can find products quickly, and plug-in magnetic gaskets create a tight seal while remaining easy to remove for service.
Operation is straightforward thanks to full electronic controls with one-touch defrost. The bottom-mounted refrigeration system keeps components accessible, and the one-piece grille removes easily for preventative maintenance. Inside, three heavy-duty epoxy-coated wire shelves provide organized storage across nearly 26 cubic feet of capacity.
The refrigeration package uses environmentally friendly, energy-efficient R290 refrigerant and meets major regulatory requirements. Adaptive defrost, a hot gas condensate evaporator, and an epoxy-coated evaporator coil help reduce maintenance while ensuring the freezer maintains temperatures down to -10°F for safe, consistent product holding.
