The Vulcan VC Series Double Deck Electric Deep Depth Convection Oven with Computer Controls is designed for high-capacity commercial kitchens that require durability, precision, and consistent performance. With its double deck configuration and deep oven cavities, this unit is ideal for operations such as schools, hospitals, bakeries, and restaurants.
Each oven section is heated by electric solid sheath elements rated at 12 kW, providing a total of 25 kW across both decks. A two-speed ½ horsepower blower motor per section ensures even heat distribution, while the moisture vent helps manage humidity during the cooking process. An oven cool switch allows for rapid cooldown between batches or at the end of service, improving workflow efficiency.
Computer controls bring advanced functionality to the VC Series. Operators benefit from digital time and temperature readouts, a 99-hour timer with an audible alarm, and a convenient Roast and Hold cycle. The system includes 100 programmable menu selections and Shelf I.D. programming, streamlining operations and improving consistency across different cooking tasks.
The oven is built with a stainless steel front, sides, top, and legs, making it exceptionally durable and easy to clean. Each section features independently operated stainless steel doors with double-pane viewing windows, allowing users to monitor the cooking process without opening the doors and losing heat. Non-sag insulation is applied to the top, rear, sides, bottom, and doors to retain heat and enhance energy efficiency.
Inside, the oven cavities measure 29" wide by 26-1/8" deep by 20" high and are finished with porcelain enamel on steel for long-lasting durability and easy cleaning. Each deck includes five nickel-plated racks measuring 28.25" by 24.5", supported by eleven-position nickel-plated rack guides with positive stops. Two interior oven lights per section provide clear visibility of all cooking levels.
