The 2⁄3 jacketed, self-contained design ensures even, efficient heating. The ellipsoidal bottom kettle liner is formed and fully welded from type 316 stainless steel, with a type 304 stainless steel exterior for strength and corrosion resistance. A ¼ x ⅝-inch bar rim with a butterfly-shaped pouring lip provides smooth, controlled serving. Embossed gallon and liter markings are permanently stamped into the kettle for quick, accurate measurement every time.
The jacket is filled with a precise mixture of water, rust inhibitor, and antifreeze for protection down to 30°F below zero. Removable electric elements are fully field serviceable for easy maintenance, and the stainless steel tilt handle—mountable on either side—allows for safe, balanced pouring. A two-position tilt lock (upright and 100° forward) provides complete emptying and easy cleaning.
Convenient right-side controls are housed in a stainless steel, watertight enclosure for dependable operation. The control system includes a power switch, indicator light, solid-state temperature control, vacuum/pressure gauge, pressure relief valve, low-water light, and automatic low-water shutoff for safety and precision.
