The 13" CleanCut knife is a stainless steel knife with a cobalt-alloy edge. Using this alloy, our heavy duty slicer is able to create a thin-edge design, so you get improved yield and reduced cost of ownership. Hobart's Borazon sharpening stones are mounted on the HS Series slicer to help you keep a consistent sharp cut, and they're dishwasher safe!
Seamless and removable features make sanitation a breeze. Our patented removable ring guard cover prevents debris buildup on cutting surfaces. Hobart's exclusive tilting, removable carriage system and rear-mounted, removable meat grip arm and slide-rod extension allows for thorough cleaning and sanitation. A seamless base, no-drip plate, dishmachine-safe removable knife, and fasteners round out the easy to clean features.
Hobart's HS Series commercial slicers include up to six interlocks for added peace of mind while using the slicer. No-Volt Release ensures the slicer will not automatically turn on if power is lost. Gauge Plate Interlock prevents the carriage arm from being removed until the gauge plate is closed and product tray in home position. 30-second Shut Off turns off the slicer after 30 seconds of non-use, while Close to Stop turns off the slicer when the gauge plate is closed. Finally, Home to Start prevents the slicer from turning on until the carriage is in home position and Carriage System Interlock keeps the carriage from tilting or removing if the gauge plate is not closed.
