Not only for rice, it can also be used to cook grits, oatmeal, porridge, even macaroni and cheese. Insulated double-wall construction and a heated lid ensure even cooking every time. Just add rice, water, push a button, and walk away. Program settings include long grain rice, short grain rice, and heat/simmer.
