The Beverage-Air SM58HC-S is a 58" stainless steel cold wall single access milk cooler designed for dependable, short-term cold storage during service in high-volume foodservice environments. With a generous 22.63 cu. ft. capacity, it efficiently accommodates standard milk crates, holding up to sixteen 13" x 13" x 11" cases or ten 19" x 13" x 11" cases. Its all-stainless steel exterior and interior provide excellent durability, sanitation, and resistance to corrosion, making it well suited for schools, cafeterias, and institutional kitchens.
This milk cooler features stainless steel lids with hinged doors and secure latches, along with flexible compression door gaskets that create a tight seal to maintain consistent internal temperatures. Heavy-duty epoxy-coated steel wire floor racks keep product elevated for proper airflow and easy loading. A centrally located floor drain allows for fast, hassle-free cleaning, while the full electronic control and exterior thermometer make temperature monitoring simple and reliable. Added security is provided by a cylinder lock, and 4" heavy-duty plate casters, including two with locks, allow for smooth mobility and stable placement.
The refrigeration system uses environmentally friendly R290 refrigerant and maintains product temperatures between 36°F and 40°F, ideal for milk service. As a cold wall design, the SM58HC-S is intended to hold product temperature during service periods; milk should be transferred to long-term refrigerated storage after service concludes.
